Lizzy + Noah's Hip Brooklyn Wedding...

Today's Brooklyn wedding, by Sheila Griffin and Becky Holladay of Amaranth Wedding Photography, is fresh to death! I can't believe I just used that phrase, but it's totally true! Lizzy and Noah are hip, stylish and full of personality, and I think their wedding is a perfect reflection of that. I can't get over Lizzy's awesome dress that she designed herself and had made by Christina Kara at Blue. A feathered mini with a detachable train? Super bad ass!

Lizzy combined a gold clover leaf necklace that was her mother's when she was little with her usual ghetto fabulous gold chains and earrings.

Lizzy's mother and father picked flowers for her bouquet from the garden of the Brooklyn brownstone that she grew up in.

Noah's mother brought down fresh flowers from the Berkshires in Massachusettes and used them to decorate the aisle and alter.

By the end of the night, the bride and groom were behind the bar pouring shots for everyone!

How awesome that her mom and dad plucked blooms for her bouquet! That's almost too sweet for words.

Eeks ~ fresh to death is right! And so happy you said it! I love weddings like this. She rocked her dress, and those shoes and looked amazing doing so! I adore that both families were involved with the details...how fabulous to carry flowers from the garden of the house you grew up in! And I LOVE the picture of her giving a thumbs up...just catches "her"!
