A Hometown Love Shoot...

If you read the 10 things I posted about myself earlier this week, you already know I am absolutely 100% enamored with puppies(I call all dogs puppies, regardless of age)! When I laid eyes on this adorable photo shoot by Becka and Nate at Studio222 Photography, complete with a super-cute pup, it made my day!

Travis and Kristin were married this past New Years Eve, and several months later, decided they wanted to do a photo shoot in their hometown of Gainesville, FL. They hit up different spots around town that were significant in the formation of their relationship. From the apartment complex where they first met, to an eclectic pizza parlor than once upon a time, was a junk shop!

Studio222 Photography is based in Orlando, FL. To check out more of their awesome work, head on over to their blog!

Etsy Spotlight: BeDo & Beccaroon

I recently discovered a delightful Etsy shop called BeDo & Beccaroon. It's the brainchild of Bethany Donahue, a talented artist who hand paints all her own designs, then creates pocket sized mirrors, flasks and coasters decked out in the bold and unique patterns.

While flasks are typically a gift given to groomsmen, some of these flasks are quite pretty and feminine, and would make cheeky bridesmaid gift! They may not be the right fit for everyone, but I know there are some ladies out there who would LOVE a gift like this!

If you want to stick with something a bit more traditional- how about a little mirror with a decorative backing? Every lady needs a mirror in her purse, so they would make a cute and useful gift for any bridesmaid!

Lastly, while you're picking up some of these darling flasks and mirrors, stock up on some of the coasters offered in the BeDo & Beccaroon store. These coasters would make a fantastic hostess gift! You never know when you'll be invited over for a dinner party, so it's nice to have some gifts on hand.

Head over to the BeDo & Beccaroon shop to buy any of the items you see here, or browse the other colors and designs available!

A Handmade Backyard Wedding...

Hunter and Kirsten had a charming backyard wedding with handmade details abound! An absolutely awesome DIY ceremony backdrop turned photo booth backdrop, sweet lace details and one of the cutest boutonnieres I've ever seen crafted from a button and some ribbon. All of these fantastic details were captured by the talented duo of Jason & Anna Photography.

Jason & Anna Photography are based in Arizona, but are available for travel. To see more, head on over to their blog!

Tips for Small Living + A Little About Me...

Today we are moving away from weddings and moving into your home! My beautiful and talented friend (and bridesmaid) Kelsey shared some awesome tips for maximizing your space when your home isn't exactly spacious. Here are a few of my faves:

Design from head to toe:
Or in other words use vertical space as well as horizontal space. Don’t be afraid to put shelves up, hooks and hang things all around. Not only is it practical it’s a nice way to dress up your walls.
Walls are great to hang jewelry, clothes, random knick knacks, papers, magazines & letters.
Ditch the big bulky furniture:
Last thing you want is that one giant couch or bed hogging up your entire space. Fact is if you’re going to live small you will also need to have smaller pieces.
Don’t forget the nooks & crannies or that closet!:
Sometimes closets make good offices or places to put your bed.

How amazing are those beds in closets? Genius! To read more of Kelsey's tips, head on over to her blog, House of Lamb.

Now, onto the part about me. I was passed the 'Beautiful Blogger Award' by two of the loveliest ladies I know, Aleah of The Good Life Events and Lydia of Ever Ours.

To start, I have to share 10 random facts about me:

{1} I am pretty obsessed with TV, I watch way too much. I wish I had Kristin Dos Santos' job on E!.

{2} I'm also obsessed with dogs! They are definitely in my top 5 list of things that make me happy. Though I love all dogs, I have an extra special place in my heart for Pit bulls and other bully breeds. I was active in rescue for awhile and have been a huge advocate for them ever since!

{3} During my teen years I attended boarding school and lived in both Utah and Montana.

{4} I have always loved reading, ever since I was a little girl. My life is always just a little bit better when I read every day.

{5} Though I am a huge lover of color, my wardrobe primarily consists of black, grey and more black.

{6} I daydream about the honeymoon my husband and I took to Fiji at least twice a day.

{7} I love traveling and REALLY want to go to Australia and New Zealand one day.

{8} I love flowers, but have a black thumb. When I was younger, I wanted to be a florist when I grew up. Secretly, I still do.

{9} I love Craigslist and check it way too often.

{10} I met my husband the day after I turned 20. I'm now 27 and the past 7 years have been the best of my life:)

Now, I get to pass this award along to 5 other bloggers. If you have already done this, I apologize. I just love you so much I had to pass it to you again!

There will be some serious wedding goodness coming your way tomorrow! Get ready:)
