Another wedding with adorable puppies! If you read this blog regularly, you'll know that I absolutely adore when couples incorporate their dogs into their wedding day. This sweet dog loving couple is Becky and Adam, and they were married in the majestic North Carolina mountains. They had an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, and the day was captured by the wonderful Bridget of Bridget McEnaney Photography. My love for puppies aside, how incredibly awesome is Becky's bouquet? It's slightly wild, a little bit whimsical and down right gorgeousss! Don't you think?
More from Becky:
Adam and I decided to get married in Black Mountain after we had already been planning our wedding in the Florida Keys. It was five short months before our originally planned wedding day when we changed our minds. We were in the NC mountains with family over Christmas when we realized this was where we had most of our memories as a couple. We wanted a small wedding with family and close friends, and the small town of Black Mountain felt just right. We read about The Blackbird, a new local restaurant that serves farm to table seasonal food and went to lunch to check it out. We fell in love with it the minute we walked in the door. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was what we were looking for, indoor and out. Another bonus, they could make our wedding cake! We learned that our old lady dogs were also welcome there!

My Dad used to sing in a bluegrass band and Adam's grandfather played fiddle in a square dance band, so we wanted to incorporate that great down home feel into our day. We found a great bluegrass band to play on the patio during our reception. My Dad got together with the band before they started their set and worked out a song that he reworded with our names and dedicated to us. It was so special to hear him sing again, he had all of is daughters in tears!

Since our goal was to keep everything local, we bought sourwood honey in bulk from local beekeepers and made smaller jars as favors for our guests.

I picked out a cotton sundress from J.Crew for my sisters and told them to pick out the color that suited each of them best.
