Fabulous Feathered Wedding...

When Abi of Abi Q Photography sent Catie and Jamie's wedding over, I was so excited! Not only have I been a fan of Abi's amazing work for awhile now, but Jamie and Catie had an awesome wedding full of life, love and lots of feathers! Check out Catie's feathered birdcage veil! More from the bride, Catie:

I didn't want the typical traditional things for our wedding I just really wanted it to be all about us and a laid back and super fun night of memories and dancing, and it was just that.

Jamie is a drummer and I'm the road manager for the band Seventh Day Slumber, so we of course had to include the tour bus in a lot of our photos! `

Our friends and family pitched in a ton and it was definitely a DIY day.

I added purple tule to my petticoat myself just to add a lil pizazz.

My sister, me, and my stepdaughter spent about four hours covered in spray glue and feathers from head to toe the day before our wedding making our handmade monogrammed feather aisle runner.

All my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Bandmates, and siblings pitched in and and helped set up all the lights, lanterns, tables, chairs, linens, and china.

My Cousins Karla and Lorissa helped make a little lounge type area in the yard with a dresser, coffee table, and couch to have a fun lil area to hang out in and take pictures.

Some advice from Catie:

My advice would be you only get married once so do exactly what you want no matter what. Don't worry about what other people say or think, stick to your guns and make it what you want.
