Honeymoon Monday: Andronis Luxury Suites...

Today I am excited to share the second part of Honeymoon Monday with you!  Some weeks there will be a featured honeymoon, like Danielle + Hank's Moorea Getaway last week. Other weeks I will be showcasing an amazing honeymoon location- which is exactly what I am sharing with you today!

We travel from the sunny South Pacific to the enchanting island of Santorini in Greece, which is the location of this week's incredible hotel, The Andronis Luxury Suites.

Here is a bit about Santorini:

Santorini is in reality a group of five islands dominated by Thira, the main island and also the name of the main town. Such a mysterious and magical group of islands offers great opportunities for swimming, sailing and exploring the volcanic nature of this special point on earth.

A robust variety of villages and landscapes greet the traveler to this island, known for its wines, sunsets and even the curious white aubergine. The main town Thira (or Fira) is a mix of Cycladic and Venetian architecture with colourful local restaurants (tavernas), interesting shops, old churches, dynamic cafes and cobblestone streets.

The highest point of the island is Oia – pronounced Ia – where the Andronis Luxury Suites grace the area’s idyllic slopes. Oia is known for its sunsets, reputed among the most beautiful in the world.

The Andronis Luxury Suites is a boutique hotel comprised of only 15 suites all set into the cliffside. The hotel is built in the local Aegean style, but offers all the modern amenities you could wish for. There is an incredible spa, an organic restaurant, and private in-room jacuzzis (that are really more like little pools) in each suite. You can lay out by the pool and catch some rays, eat a romantic sunset dinner on your balcony, or walk through the charming town and peruse the local shops.
Here are some more gorgeous photos straight from other honeymooners and vacationers!
Absolutely amazing, right? This would make such a romantic and relaxing honeymoon! I really need to make it to Greece one of these days. It's on my dream vacay list!

Wowza! This is just incredibly breathtaking. Personally, I'm a bit picky about honeymoon locations. I want to be by a beach and relax. But I also would like to discover somewhere new and have adventures with my new hubby. This would be perfect to get the best of both worlds!

oh please can I go there STAT! Greece is way high on my go-to list. This resort is insane tho! Can you imagine a dinner with your sweetie, all by yourself out on that ledge with that view? Or your own infinity pool suite? SIGH. this is heaven!

It's on my must-travel-to list also! It's beautiful in the pictures and probably 10xs nicer in person. We considered going here for our honeymoon, but it's just too far. Niether of us want to be on a flight for 13+ hours the day after our wedding... so we're looking into places closer.

Ok, that has GOT to be the most byooteeful photo of a place I've ever seen. Thank you, Melissa, and Greece, for making my day with your mutual loveliness.

I was there just a few weeks ago, it was nice.. but loads of tourists... I personally prefer the smaller greek islands, so if you're going to Santorini, take a 2 day trip to some beautiful, small and close island. If you want to experience the more traditional greek culture :)
