A Traditional English Wedding With A Modern Twist Pt. II...

On to part II of this amazing wedding by Procopio Photography! The second ceremony in Liz & Paul's wedding is called the blessing ceremony. It's fairly similar to a traditional christian ceremony here in the US. Something different though, is the reception. The guests were served a traditional English breakfast. Yes, I said breakfast. Don't think pancakes and eggs though, this breakfast is 3 hours long and features 5 courses, one of which is roasted lamb. Another difference? Liz & Paul cut their cake with a sword!!! How cool is that?

Back to dress talk, I mentioned in my post about part I of this wedding that Liz had yet another amazing dress. Well, I'm not letting you down. Check this beauty out! Liz, an artist who paints, illustrates, and does a number of other incredible things, designed her own gown! She was inspired by the 1930s, and her design is pretty spectacular if I do say so myself!

Procopio Photography is a husband & wife photography team based out of Washington DC. To see more of their work, make sure to check out their blog!

A big congratulations to Liz & Paul, and thank you so much Cicely!
