Our Wedding- 6 Months Later...

I've gotten a few emails asking me to share a little more about our wedding. I figured what better day to do that than on our 6-month wedding anniversary? Ok, so it's actually tomorrow, but close enough! I decided to post some of my favorite photos, and share a little about our day. Some of the photos were taken by our amazing photographer Amelia Lyon, some taken by friends, and some taken on my iPhone. Whether it's an awesome photo, or a crappy grainy photo, they all hold beautiful memories that I will always cherish!

This photo was taken at the hotel where we got our hair and makeup done. We had a little toast with one of my favorite wines, Rosa Regale, right before we headed over to the venue. Sadly my lovely maid of honor is missing from the photo, but someone had to take it!

I gave each one of my lovely ladies a cotton Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag filled with goodies. One thing that was included were these purple flip flops. Silly to take a picture of your feet? Probably. Do I still love it? Hell yes!

Bustling my dress was quite the adventure. It took way too long, and we had to enlist Luke, one of my besties and a groomsmen, to help. This was right after the ceremony, and immediately the servers brought us all some cocktails. I was super excited about this, as you can see, but it probably didn't help everyone else who was trying to locate and hook a bunch of tiny buttons.

Ladies with big dresses, one thing you will discover is that it's really hard to pee on your own. It takes a team, literally. Did I just post a picture of myself in the bathroom on my blog? Yes I did. It's ok, all you can see sticking out of the tiny stall is my head and an enthusiastic thumbs up anyways:)

I pretty much have the best girlfriends ever. They are super hot and super silly. Here they are while Slayer was playing during our reception. By that I mean our DJ played a Slayer song. Sadly, Slayer was not actually there.

Here's that giant dress I spoke of.

And here I am getting into it.

My handsome husband and his rad screen printed tie and feather bout. Bryan owns a screen printing company, so I thought it was super fun that we found a tie that both suited his style, and reflected his line of work.

These next two photos were taken right after we had our "first look" before the ceremony. I was really, really glad we did this. I get super emotional and cry a lot. I'm not one of those pretty crying girls either, I turn into a hot mess. Seeing Bryan before the ceremony helped me spend some quiet time with him, and get some of that overwhelming emotion out. I got my makeup touched up before the ceremony, and while I still cried during the ceremony, it wasn't as out of control as it could have been.

A few more pre-ceremony pictures. This time in a red phone booth that is on the property of our venue, Rancho Las Lomas. It was SOOOOO hot in there! You'd never know though, because the photos turned out so great!

That makeup touch up I talked about getting before the ceremony? Here it is! The delightful Nicole Deanne, doing her thing!

The moment it all became real. We are officially man and wife! The best moment of my life, for sure!

On to some of the details!

A post-ceremony photo. Love this vintage Ford we stumbled across!

One of my very favorite details from our wedding, the dessert table! The cake and mini desserts by Sweet & Saucy Shop were delish! Everyone raved about them. Bryan's Mom made some cookies too, which I must say, were quite a hit! Those treat bags in the lower right hand corner? Bryan screen printed those. I loved them.

We had a bunch of black birdcages adorned with flowers hanging above and around our sweetheart table. Now, most of those birdcages reside in our house! I loved being able to re-use most of our decor in our home.

A big thanks to all our spectacular vendors whose work is featured in these photos! Amelia Lyon Photography, The Treasured Petal, Sweet & Saucy Shop, Joyful Weddings & Events, Nicole Deanne & Rancho Las Lomas.

To my dearest darling husband, Bryan...I love you endlessly! Happy 'we've been married for 6 months anniversary'!!!

Love your wedding! Do you have a good source for your votive candle holders? Love the lace wrapped ones you made, and I'm also looking for the mercury glass ones. Do you remember where you got them? Thanks!
